The Terra Artemis Foundation combines the meaning of “Terra”, the Latin word for earth and land, with “Artemis”, the Greek goddess of wildlife, nature, and protection. Together, the name symbolises a deep commitment to protecting Australia’s native wildlife and preserving the natural environments they depend upon. Through conservation, research, education, and advocacy, the Foundation seeks to foster a future where Australia’s unique ecosystems and species can thrive for generations to come.
